Unfortunately, we were only able to conduct limited testing on our solar cooker before it stopped working. We believe it was due to the switch mechanism not properly turning off the diode chain once it became too hot. This resulted in it overheating, which was evident by the burnt glue on one side of the pot.
We think this failure could be due to poor switch placement which prevented it from accurately reading the temperature or uneven heating of the diodes which made the side opposite of the switch to overheat.
